NEW YORK LONG ISLAND FILM FESTIVAL - UNSPOKEN

This past Summer, the feature length film Unspoken by Daryl Denner was selected into the New York Long Island Film Festival for 2020!
The mission statement on the NYLIFF website declares:

Our goal is to give equal opportunity to filmmakers, writers and artists who put their heart and soul into filmmaking, especially those who may not have all the resources necessary to perfectly polish their work! Artists in the past were discovered for their unique talents and abilities even if all the technical aspects were not in place. Recognizing a great story, actor, script or any other artist while not yet perfected should be the job of those doing the evaluating. Whether you have a 10 million dollar indie or an ultra low-budget iphone short, we are interested in you.

Global conditions are less than ideal for movie going and festivals, however as the saying goes, "the show must go on!"

Many festivals are moving online, or attempting a combination of in-person and virtual screenings.  NYLIFF is attempting to accomplish both, a live screening for participants, close friends and family, and online access for those unable to attend.

Unspoken will be a part of the opening block of the festival on Friday October 23, 2020, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.  The block includes three short films.  The screening will take place at the Lindenhurst Moose Lodge; 883 South Broadway, Lindenhurst NY 11757.

After the screening there will be a short question and answer period with the filmmakers.

If you go, remember to bring your face mask!
