On Sunday afternoon I shot a guest starring role on the web series "Rhonda Mitchell, MD."

On Saturday, I acted in the Pilot episode of the show "We Be Nurses."  

The synopsis on the casting notice states:

A couple of week ago I was back on set for more coverage shots on A. Va Jordan's short film "The Jig is up Mister Bones."

On Thursday September 10, I acted in A. Van Jordan's short film "The Jig Is Up, Mr. Bones." 

On Set - The Revenge of Places Please!

In December, Rodney, Rachel and I began filming new episodes of Places Please.

Surprisingly, we last shot an episode almost three years ago.

When the first season ended, we fully intended to take a small break and then pick up the three story arcs that were outlined during the filming of the first three stories.

However, other projects, city life, and work lead to us taking a longer break than planned.

Weeks turned into months.  Months turned into years.  Places Please was never far from our hearts, just far enough away not to be tangible.

Friends and fans who had enjoyed the show began asking us when the next season would start filming.  We always had the same answer, "as soon as we can coordinate our schedules, we'll start again."

Cinema Night in Brooklyn

 

My webseries, Places Please, will be screening an episode this Thursday night, November the 10th in Brooklyn.  Places Please will be apart Cinema Night,  a Brooklyn based film festival that features New York City Filmmakers.

The event is very informal and a great chance to meet and interact with underground filmmakers.  Brooklyn's Tiki Bar hosts the event in their backroom.
