On Stage! SOMEWHERE BETWEEN MARS AND VENUS

Two more performances have been added to the recent run of Somewhere Between Mars & Venus.
I'm reprising my role of Morty Donovan, basically the villain in the show.

The original run of the show was in May, as part of the 2022 Fresh Fruit Festival.

The link to those performances can be found here:

The writer and director Otto Sanchez brought the show back for five more performances this past month, that ran from January 18th to the 22nd.

As with many Off-Broadway shows, this piece changed from its first run.  Many parts of the script were rewritten, with a character added and several of the parts recast.

The venue changed from the Wild-On project in Alphabet City, to very different venue at The Tank, a gritty multi-theater space in Midtown near Broadway.

However, even with the changes, I still really enjoyed getting up and doing the show.  The material and the acting is very strong.

I've performed in a lot of theater over the years, and I've seen even more.  I believe that this show is a truly legitimate black box theater experience that works specifically because it's performed in New York City.

If you have the chance, please come check it out!

Tickets can be bought on the venue's website!
