INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL MANHATTAN - DOUBLE VISION

The feature length horror movie Double Vision was accepted into the International Film Festival Manhattan.

In the movie I play the love interest of the main character.

2020's IFFM will run from November 19th -22nd.

The IFFM is the second film festival for Double Vision.  Earlier in 2020, the movie won the best thriller film 2020 in the Hell's Kitchen NYC festival.

Over the years, I've had a few movies screen at the IFFM.  I've come to know and befriend many of the people who help run the festival.

I'm very grateful for their hard work, enthusiasm and for giving a platform in Manhattan for many indie and underground filmmakers.

Many of my friends and coworkers have benefitted directly from presenting their work at IFFM.

The IFFM website states:

We are visionaries who believes in the possibilities of New York, the greatest city in the world. We have seen how film, as a powerful medium can make a direct impact on lives or facilitate change. We also have seen the unique diversity of New York's culture and its people. The city's appreciation for film and ability to make things happen. IFFM is committed in showcasing entertaining and diverse films in all genres and scope to equal the diversity of New York. It is also committed in exploring all opportunities to promote the artists, his work, his vision, and his cause if he has any, during the showing of the films and the events during the festival.

This year's program will be all virtual.  The festival writes:

Note: Due to the Worldwide Pandemic, the International Film Festival Manhattan will be doing Virtual Events happening online (ticketed with limited time) on November 19 to 22, 2020. Decision to do so was because of the lockdowns and limited travel around the world due to the Pandemic. There is also lack of live events happening in NY. Meanwhile, we plan to do meaningful (for the filmmakers and audience alike) Virtual Events Online.

Plus, the movie has a very active Facebook page.

I met a lot of great people during the making of Double Vision and I'm happy that their hard work is being recognized.
